Skyview Varsity Hawks have an Impressive Win Against the Emmett Huskies

Skyview Varsity Hawks easily dispatched Emmett on Tuesday, 7-1.
Skyview Varsity Hawks jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after an error scored two runs, and Marcus Martinez drew a walk, scoring one run.
Skyview Varsity Hawks extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI walks by John Tyson and Martinez.
Elijah Strong stepped on the hill first for Skyview Varsity Hawks. The righty gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out five and walking none. Kharsan Kharrl stepped on the hill first for Emmett. The pitcher surrendered two hits and five runs (two earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking five. Henry Downey one inning and Keegan Sullivan two innings each threw shutout innings for Skyview Varsity Hawks in relief.
Trevan Plew, Mason Krahn, Nixon Downs, Downey, Ledger Downs, and Keegan Sullivan each collected one hit for Skyview Varsity Hawks. Martinez, Sullivan, and Tyson each drove in one run for Skyview Varsity Hawks. Downey led Skyview Varsity Hawks with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game.
Jackson Simonson went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Casey Coburn, Simonson, and #13 each collected one hit for Emmett. Emmett turned one double play in the game.
