American Leadership Academy West Foothills got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Alyssa Hovanec doubled down the right field line, Kaitlin Suchocki singled down the right field line, and , each scoring one run. Show Low Varsity Cougars flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring seven runs on six hits to take the lead, 7-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to left field by Riley Heuett that drove in three. Aspyn Clark earned the win for Show Low Varsity Cougars.
