Carmel, NY — The team showed tremendous heart and resilience in a competitive 9–11 loss to Carmel, battling not only a strong opponent but also two weather delays that disrupted the game’s rhythm. Despite the challenges, the players came out strong and never let up, keeping the pressure on Carmel from start to finish.
Fiona Varley led the scoring effort with an impressive three goals, showing poise and control on the attack. Mackenzie Brown and Julia Tanner each contributed two goals, capitalizing on key opportunities to keep the team in the game. Lillian Atria and Anneliese Vitale also found the back of the net with one goal apiece.
While the final score wasn’t in their favor, the team’s effort, grit, and teamwork were clear throughout the game. It was a strong showing against a tough opponent.
