Pine Bush, NY — Pine Bush battled with intensity in a hard-fought 10-6 loss to a strong North Rockland team. The game remained tightly contested through much of the action, with Pine Bush pushing the pace and matching North Rockland’s energy before the Red Raiders were able to pull away in the final stretch.
Offensively, Katie Cragan and Anneliese Vitale each tallied two goals, while Fiona Varley and Mackenzie Brown added one apiece. In goal, Grace Grant stood tall with nine key saves.
The defensive unit—Leah Meberg, Ally Pierpoint, Julia Tanner, Alannah Giannini, and Kate Harris—put in a gritty effort, working tirelessly to contain North Rockland’s attack. Midfielders Madeline Doyle, Fiona Varley, and Katie Cragan played both ends of the field with hustle and grit, helping transition the ball and apply pressure on defense.
Pine Bush moves to 4-3 on the season and looks to bounce back next week, hosting division opponent Kingston on Thursday.
