Tori Silva tripled in the first inning, doubled in the second inning, and singled in the first inning. Shelton Varsity Softball scored eight runs in the first inning on the way to victory. Jeanise Serrano tripled, scoring two runs, Chayse DellaRocco tripled, scoring one run, Sadie Balocca was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Blake Hall singled, scoring one run, Olivia Montero singled, scoring one run, and Tori Silva tripled, scoring two runs. Shelton Varsity Softball added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Sammi Denihan doubled to left field, Sadie Balocca tripled to center field, Blake Hall singled to the right side of the infield, and Tori Silva doubled to center field, each scoring one run. Blake Hall earned the win for Shelton Varsity Softball. The hurler gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking one. Jana Rivas began the game for Wilbur Cross. The starting pitcher gave up 10 hits and 12 runs (11 earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking six. Shelton Varsity Softball piled up 15 hits in the game. Jeanise Serrano and Tori Silva each drove in three runs for Shelton Varsity Softball. Blake Hall, Olivia Montero, Sammi Denihan, and Sadie Balocca each collected multiple hits for Shelton Varsity Softball. Avery Wheeler paced Shelton Varsity Softball with two walks.
