Nampa, ID — John Tyson’s Clutch Hitting Propels Skyview Varsity Hawks To Victory Over Nampa Varsity Bulldogs

John Tyson drove in four runs on three hits to lead Skyview Varsity Hawks past Nampa Varsity Bulldogs 11-0 on Wednesday. Tyson singled in the sixth scoring two, singled in the first scoring one, and walked in the fourth scoring one.
Skyview Varsity Hawks won thanks in part to six runs in the sixth inning. Tyson singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and Parker Kons doubled, scoring three runs.
Skyview Varsity Hawks got on the board in the top of the first inning after Mason Krahn walked, and Tyson singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Skyview Varsity Hawks added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Henry Downey hit a sacrifice fly, and Trevan Plew was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.
Elijah Strong earned the win for Skyview Varsity Hawks. The starter allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Logan Fernandez took the loss for Nampa Varsity Bulldogs. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, surrendering four runs (two earned) on three hits, striking out one and walking two. Kons and Keegan Sullivan each came on in relief for Skyview Varsity Hawks and shutdown Nampa Varsity Bulldogs.
Skyview Varsity Hawks had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. Krahn and Downey led the team with two bases on balls each. Tyler Russell stole two bases. Skyview Varsity Hawks ran wild on the base paths, piling up five stolen bases for the game.
Konner Rae went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Nampa Varsity Bulldogs in hits.
