Bay City, MI — Akron-Fairgrove Varsity Vikings had trouble keeping up with All Saints Central in a 27-0 loss on Wednesday.
All Saints Central got on the board in the top of the first inning after H Essex doubled, scoring one run, C Warren drew a walk, scoring one run, N Potuin singled, scoring two runs, B Gansser drew a walk, scoring one run, D Paul singled, scoring one run, J Hartman drew a walk, scoring one run, and Essex singled, scoring two runs.
All Saints Central scored seven runs on three hits in the top of the second inning. Warren scored after tagging up, Essex doubled, scoring two runs, M Wetters drew a walk, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored two runs.
All Saints Central scored 11 runs on seven hits in the top of the third inning. J Wetters drew a walk, scoring one run, #21 was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, B Williams singled, scoring two runs, Wetters singled, scoring two runs, #4 drew a walk, scoring one run, Gansser singled, scoring two runs, #26 tripled, scoring one run, and Wetters tripled, scoring one run.
