Wallentine surrendered two hits and zero runs over five innings while walking three. Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar got on the board in the top of the first inning after Safford committed an error, Wallentine singled to right field, and Paysen Slone grounded out, each scoring one run. Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar scored seven runs on five hits in the top of the second inning. Ruthie Wilhelm singled, scoring three runs, an error scored one run, Huntlee Garvin singled, scoring one run, and Lilly Davis doubled, scoring two runs.
