Both teams were strong in the circle on Saturday, but Petoskey Varsity Northmen was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 1-0 victory over Adams Varsity Highlanders. Olivia Viazanko started the game for Adams Varsity Highlanders and recorded 21 outs.

Bre VerCautren earned the win for Petoskey Varsity Northmen. The pitcher surrendered three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking none. Viazanko took the loss for Adams Varsity Highlanders. The righty went seven innings, surrendering one run on eight hits, striking out nine and walking two.
Lilley Lutzka, Viazanko, and Stella Phillips each collected one hit for Adams Varsity Highlanders. Adams Varsity Highlanders didn't commit a single error in the field. Lilly Carpenter had the most chances in the field with 10.
Janes went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Alexis Cadarette led Petoskey Varsity Northmen with three hits in four at bats from the leadoff position. Petoskey Varsity Northmen stole four bases in the game. Petoskey Varsity Northmen didn't commit a single error in the field. Addisynn Segraves had the most chances in the field with 11.
