Monrovia, CA — David Kemper collected three hits in three at bats, as South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers defeated Monrovia Junior Varsity Wildcat 10-0 on Thursday. Kemper singled in the third inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers won thanks in part to six runs in the third inning. Matt Rogers drew a walk, scoring one run, Nathan Gutierrez singled, scoring one run, Kemper singled, scoring one run, Julian Barnes singled, scoring one run, and Liam Baum doubled, scoring two runs.
A double by Barnes put South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers on the board in the top of the second.
Sawyer Courtice started the game for South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers. The starter gave up four hits and zero runs over five and one-third innings, striking out six and walking two.
