Sparta Varsity Spartans got on the board in the first inning after Kamden Vanderlaan doubled, scoring three runs. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) tied the game up in the bottom of the first thanks to three singles. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) tied the game at three on a single by Ben Kieliszewski. A sacrifice fly by Evan Alster gave Sparta Varsity Spartans the lead, 5-3, in the top of the second. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 9-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Jackson McNew that drove in two. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) added one run in the third after Cam Myers singled to center field on an 0-2 count.
