Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV) got on the board in the top of the first inning after Oliver Olmstead singled to center field, and Hayden Paggeot grounded out, each scoring one run. Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV) added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Quentin Raffler singled up the middle, and Brody Nichols walked, each scoring one run. Paggeot earned the win for Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV). The right-handed pitcher surrendered two hits and four runs (two earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out six and walking five. Joey Furrow took the loss for Hastings Junior Varsity Saxons. The righty went three innings, allowing six runs on four hits, striking out none and walking seven.
