Byron Center, MI — Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) snatched the lead late in their 1-0 victory over Byron Center Bulldogs on Tuesday. The game was tied at zero in the top of the seventh when Ethan Sova hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Both teams were strong on the bump. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) pitchers struck out five, while Byron Center Bulldogs sat down nine.
