Mona Shores Varsity Sailors jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Owen Tornga drew a walk, scoring one run, Brendon Harmsen singled, scoring one run, Julian Thielbar singled, scoring one run, Brayden Bennett hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and JP Charron doubled, scoring two runs. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on five hits to take the lead, 7-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Cam Myers that drove in two.
