Grand Haven, MI — Ethan Sova drove in four runs on two hits to lead Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) past Grand Haven Varsity Buccaneers 11-6 on Tuesday. Sova singled in the sixth scoring two, hit a sacrifice fly in the first scoring one, and singled in the fifth scoring one. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) were the first to get on the board in the first when Sova hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Caledonia Fighting Scots (Varsity) added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Cam Myers hit a sacrifice fly, and Grand Haven Varsity Buccaneers committed an error, each scoring one run. In the bottom of the fourth inning, Grand Haven Varsity Buccaneers went back into the lead after Braxton Wilson singled to center field, Xzavier Rodriguez singled to center field, and Sawyer Harrison was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.
