Caledonia, MI — Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV) bested Reeths-Puffer Junior Varsity Rockets 6-3 on Tuesday at Caledonia Varsity Baseball Field.
Reeths-Puffer Junior Varsity Rockets opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Reeths-Puffer Junior Varsity Rockets first got on the board when Bryce Muskovin singled, scoring one run.
Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV) tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a double by Justin Golembeske, and a ground out by Chase Whisler.
Reeths-Puffer Junior Varsity Rockets took the lead in the top of the second. An error scored one run, to give Reeths-Puffer Junior Varsity Rockets the advantage, 3-2.
Golembeske singled down the left field line on an 0-2 count, which helped Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV) tie the game at three in the bottom of the fifth.
Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV) took the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning after Lincoln Snow singled down the right field line, Oliver Olmstead stole home, and Drew Nichols singled to center field, each scoring one run.
