Jenison Junior Varsity Wildcats were the first to get on the board in the first when Blake Lafler singled, scoring two runs. A passed ball extended the Jenison Junior Varsity Wildcats lead to 3-1 in the top of the third inning. Drew Nichols led things off on the hill for Caledonia Fighting Scots (JV). The left-handed pitcher gave up four hits and seven runs (two earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking seven. Porter Miller began the game for Jenison Junior Varsity Wildcats. The righty surrendered nine hits and three runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.
