Caledonia Fighting Scots (Freshmen) jumped into the lead in the top of the third when Sawyer Tague drew a walk, scoring one run, and Logan Pratt tripled, scoring three runs. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Byron Center Freshman Bulldogs went back into the lead after Jackson Thomas walked, and Sonntag singled up the middle, each scoring one run.
