Tanner Rooney, Armando Quito, and Harrison Tronick combined for four of the team's eight hits in the victory. They scored two runs and drove in none. A wild pitch put Westhill Varsity Vikings on the board in the top of the second. Westhill Varsity Vikings added one run in the third after Danbury committed an error. Jorge Hitlin led things off on the hill for Westhill Varsity Vikings. The left-handed pitcher gave up five hits and two runs (one earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking two. Chieffallo stepped on the bump first for Danbury. The pitcher allowed eight hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out three and walking one. Armando Quito appeared in relief for Westhill Varsity Vikings.
