The bottom of the lineup helped Westhill Varsity Vikings capture a 4-2 victory over Danbury on Wednesday. Tanner Rooney, Armando Quito, and Harrison Tronick combined for four of the team's eight hits in the victory. They scored two runs and drove in none.
A wild pitch put Westhill Varsity Vikings on the board in the top of the second.

Jorge Hitlin led things off on the hill for Westhill Varsity Vikings. Armando Quito, Remington Anderson, and Jorge Hitlin each collected two hits for Westhill Varsity Vikings. Remington Anderson stole two bases. Torpey, the number nine hitter for Danbury, led the way with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Busse led Danbury with two hits in three at bats. Danbury turned one double play in the game.
