A home run to right field by Brandyn Boone Jr. put Westhill Varsity Vikings on the board in the bottom of the first. McMahon made the score 3-2 in the top of the second after an error scored one run, and Inzitari singled, scoring two runs. Tanner Rooney singled to center field, which helped Westhill Varsity Vikings tie the game at three in the bottom of the fourth. McMahon took the lead in the top of the fifth. Castro singled, scoring one run, to give McMahon the edge, 4-3. Westhill Varsity Vikings jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning after Jorge Hitlin doubled down the right field line, Aidan Dube singled to center field, Matthew Brucker singled down the left field line, and Armando Quito singled to center field, each scoring one run. Jorge Hitlin began the game for Westhill Varsity Vikings. The hurler surrendered eight hits and five runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking none.
