Wilton were the first to get on the board in the first when Steff Cross tripled, scoring two runs.
Aidan Dube homered to right field, which helped Westhill Varsity Vikings tie the game at two in the bottom of the first.
A single by Remington Anderson gave Westhill Varsity Vikings the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the second.
Westhill Varsity Vikings scored two runs in the bottom of the third on a home run to right field by Brandyn Boone Jr..
Jorge Hitlin earned the win for Westhill Varsity Vikings. The pitcher gave up six hits and two runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out six and walking none. Aiden Englebright took the loss for Wilton. The hurler went four and one-third innings, allowing six runs on six hits, striking out one and walking two. Ethan Dianis tossed one inning of zero-run ball for Westhill Varsity Vikings in relief. The right-handed pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking one.
Remington Anderson, Brandyn Boone Jr., and Jorge Hitlin each collected two hits for Westhill Varsity Vikings. Brandyn Boone Jr. and Aidan Dube were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Westhill Varsity Vikings.
Steff Cross drove the middle of the lineup, leading Wilton with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Dennis Dustin led Wilton with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.
