Westhill Varsity Vikings jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Brandyn Boone Jr. doubled, scoring one run, and Charles Combest singled, scoring two runs. A hit by a pitch, and a single by Armando Quito helped Westhill Varsity Vikings extend their early lead in the second. Westhill Varsity Vikings added one run in the third. Patrick Rosencrans grounded out, making the score 7-0. Andres Jurado stepped on the hill first for Westhill Varsity Vikings. The starter gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking one. Damian Y opened the game for Bridgeport Central. The righty gave up six hits and seven runs (three earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking four.
