Anaheim, CA — Tustin won the last time they faced Cypress and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tillers breezed past the Centurions to the tune of 39-0. Given the Tillers' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Centurions are ranked 233rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected. Tustin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elijah Robinson led the charge by rushing for 103 yards and two scores on only nine carries. Jeremiah Salvant was another key player, gaining 94 total yards and two touchdowns. They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tustin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024. The win made it two in a row for Tustin and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.0 points over those games. We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tustin will challenge rival Trabuco Hills at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
