Bethlehem, PA — Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers easily dispatched Bethlehem Catholic on Thursday, 19-7. Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Josh Walkiewicz doubled, Miles Worthy doubled, and Sebastian Greg singled, each scoring two runs. A sacrifice fly by Dom Crisci, and a double by Worthy helped Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers extend their early lead in the second. Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers added two runs in the third. Brody Dech doubled on an 0-2 count, making the score 11-2. Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers scored five runs on three hits in the top of the seventh inning. Andrei Pacheco drew a walk, scoring one run, Carson Bush drew a walk, scoring one run, Jose Landaverde hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Jaxton Gares doubled, scoring two runs. Walkiewicz earned the win for Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and five runs (one earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking three.
