Caldwell, ID — Skyview Varsity Hawks Triumph Over Vallivue Varsity Falcons By GameChanger Media Skyview Varsity Hawks topped Vallivue Varsity Falcons 6-2 on Monday. Vallivue Varsity Falcons were the first to get on the board in the third when Colt Augustus singled, scoring two runs. Skyview Varsity Hawks tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a walk by Brodie Fleshman, and a passed ball. In the top of the sixth, Skyview Varsity Hawks broke up the tie when Fleshman tripled, scoring one run. Then a single by Elijah Strong followed to extend the lead to 4-2. Jacoby Navarro earned the win for Skyview Varsity Hawks. The pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out one and walking none. Gage Warrington took the loss for Vallivue Varsity Falcons. The righty went two and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs on five hits, striking out four and walking two. Joe Bernal opened the game for Skyview Varsity Hawks. The pitcher allowed zero hits and two runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking two. Eli Daniel started on the mound for Vallivue Varsity Falcons. The pitcher allowed one hit and two runs (one earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out six and walking six.
