Rudyard, MI — Bottom Of The Lineup Carries Rudyard Varsity Bulldogs Past Cedarville/DeTour Varsity Islanders

The bottom of the lineup helped Rudyard Varsity Bulldogs capture a 15-0 victory over Cedarville/DeTour Varsity Islanders on Friday. Ayden Pavlat, Dalton Savoie, and Trenton Baker combined for six of the team's 10 hits in the victory. They scored six runs and drove in five.
Rudyard Varsity Bulldogs won thanks in part to eight runs in the third inning. Savoie singled, scoring two runs, Levi Mayer singled, scoring one run, Jaxon Clark singled, scoring one run, Clark scored after tagging up, Baker singled, scoring one run, and Pavlat doubled, scoring two runs.
A double by Bryce Mitchell put Rudyard Varsity Bulldogs on the board in the bottom of the first.
Rudyard Varsity Bulldogs scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the second inning. Savoie singled, scoring one run, Kyle Postma homered to center field, scoring three runs, and a steal of home scored one run.
