Newburgh, NY — The team put together a commanding performance in a 17–0 shutout victory over Newburgh, with nine different players contributing to the scoring. The offense was firing on all cylinders, and the defense held strong throughout, securing the team’s third divisional win and clinching a postseason berth.
Fiona Varley led the way with a standout game, scoring three goals and dishing out six assists to fuel the attack. Anneliese Vitale had a breakout performance with four goals, while Mackenzie Brown added two. Lillian Atria, Julia Tanner, Madeline Doyle, and Rachael Price each found the back of the net once. Alle Pierpoint and Olivia Januario also scored one goal apiece, each celebrating their first varsity goal.
Camryn Kodgis anchored the defense in goal, making six saves to earn the shutout. It was a complete team effort on both ends of the field, showing focus, depth, and determination as the team improves to 3-2 in the division and 7-5 overall.
