Recap
Carnesville, GA — Returning to play at home, your Lions looked to improve to 5-0 for the first time since 2020. The West Hall Spartans came to town with a lot of size and athleticism. Franklin was down there starting quarterback, and facing a degree of uncertainty. The game shaped up to be a challenge for Franklin County a week before they set to begin region play.
What ensued was more of what we have grown used to seeing out of this team. The defense choked the life out of the opponent, and the offense was simultaneously methodical and explosive. TD's piled up, defensive stops were more abundant than livestock within the county. Running a two quarterback system, Franklin county opened up a 33-0 lead by halftime, and that margin swelled to 60-0 by the time the clock expired.
Your Franklin County Lions are rolling, and they invite you to join them on the road at Stephens County for their next game this coming Friday, September 26! Thank you for all of your support!
As always - Go Lions and #RTR!
