Wu doubled in the third inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the sixth inning. Archer School for Girls Panthers got on the board in the first inning after A Birstein singled, scoring one run. Talula Bearden singled to center field, which helped South Pasadena Varsity Tigers tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. South Pasadena Varsity Tigers captured the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the second after Natalie Kan was struck by a pitch, and Adelaide Bertolina stole home, each scoring one run. South Pasadena Varsity Tigers added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Emma Becerra grounded out, Wu doubled down the left field line, and Kan doubled to center field, each scoring one run.
