Kingston, NY — Pine Bush battled their way to a thrilling 17-15 victory over Kingston in the Section IX Class A Semi-Final, earning a spot in the championship game. From the opening whistle to the final buzzer, the game was an intense, back-and-forth showdown with momentum constantly shifting. Lillian Atria led the team with seven-goals, stepping up time and again when her team needed it most. Julia Tanner added three big goals, while Anneliese Vitale, Katie Cragan, and Fiona Varley each netted two. Madeline Doyle added a key tally to help seal the win. In goal, Camryn Kodgis was rock-solid, making eight crucial saves to help preserve the lead down the stretch. The defense—anchored by Alessandra Pierpoint, Leah Meberg, Alanah Giannini, and Kate Harris— along with the midfield-played with grit and discipline, disrupting Kingston’s attack and coming up with clutch stops in high-pressure moments. It was a full team effort fueled by determination and heart. With the win, Pine Bush advances to the Section IX Class A Final, where they will take on Valley Central on May 30th at 6:00 PM at Monroe-Woodbury.
