Saline, MI — The Saline Hornets JV football team put together a complete performance Thursday night, rolling past the Ann Arbor Pioneer Pioneers with a commanding 55-0 victory. The Hornets scored all 55 points in the first half and showcased dominance in all three phases of the game. Offensively, Saline ran 48 plays for 390 total yards, balancing 143 yards through the air (13 of 18 passing) with 247 yards rushing on 23 attempts. Quarterback Austin Falkowski was efficient, throwing four touchdown passes — connecting with Archer Gates, Caleb Harris (2), and Westin Rogers. On the ground, the Hornets were just as dangerous, as Hunter Orr (2), Trey Foster, and Brady Baldwin each found the end zone. Defensively, Saline was relentless, limiting Pioneer to just 15 total yards and three first downs the entire game. The defense and special teams forced eight total turnovers — including two interceptions (by Levi Choby and Trey Foster) and six fumble recoveries. The collective effort ensured Pioneer never found a rhythm. With contributions from across the roster, the Hornets delivered a statement win that highlighted teamwork, efficiency, and toughness.
