Placentia, CA — The Laguna Beach Breakers took their 3-0 record on the road to play the 3-1 El Dorado Golden Hawks. On El Dorado‘s first offensive possession, Tristan Andronesi forced a fumble that Laguna Beach recovered, leading to LBHS's first touchdown, when Jack Hurst threw to Will Kimball. After the Breakers' second scoring touchdown in the first quarter, Brady Stringham executed a perfect onside kick, recovering the ball himself. Although the Breakers were unable to score on this possession, they did block El Dorado’s ensuing punt, which led to another LBHS touchdown. Laguna Beach went into halftime with a lead of 21-0. A few penalties assisted El Dorado in the third quarter, enabling them to get on the board and cut Laguna's lead to 21 to 7. Laguna answered back with a touchdown of their own to increase their lead to 28 to 7. The final score: Laguna Beach 28 - El Dorado 14.
