Laguna Beach, CA — Laguna Beach High's football team kept their perfect season alive, crushing Aliso Niguel 48-20 in a thrilling showdown. The Breakers, undefeated at 7-0, put it all on display. Charlie Christian sparked the first quarter with a pick-six off the 12-yard line, and Jack Hurst followed up by hitting Wyatt Bogdan for another touchdown off the 25, jumping to a 13-0 lead. Aliso Niguel roared back with two long passes to snag a 14-13 edge, but Laguna wouldn't quit-Hurst found Otis Boultinghouse, then to Brady Stringham, on fourth down, storming to 27-14 by halftime. Third quarter was pure dominance. Hurst tossed two more to Stringham, and Bobby Gardner ran it in for 21 straight points. Defense was nasty with five sacks, three by Christian, two by Xavier Brooks, plus picks from Will Kimball and Colter Steris. Final: 48-20.
