Yucaipa, CA — Yucaipa pulled out a 10-8 victory yesterday. The entire match came down to the final doubles match. With Yucaipa trailing in overall games the team had to win the match for the victory. Bridget and Bella battled in a close match but in the end we're able to overcome the nerves for a 7-6 (7-5) tie breaker win. The Thunderbirds had a number of different player help secure the 10 wins including: Abby (1), Makenna (2), Natalie (1), Evy (1) Lia/Brooklyn (2), Avery A/Fionna (1), Bridget/Khloe (1) and Bridget/Bella. The team has 3 good matches next week at North and Xavier Prep and a home game vs the very strong JV team from Temecula Valley.
