Hendricks added another touchdown with a nice run to lengthen the lead to 14–0. A breakdown in the secondary led to a Baron score, but on the ensuing kickoff, Brooks Carter, went 72 yards for an apparent touchdown, only to have a callback for a penalty. Brooks was then rewarded with a pass from Hendricks for a score to increase to a 20 -7 lead Late in the first quarter after an interception return, Tyler Nguyen punched it in from a yard out to give Laguna a 27–7 halftime lead. The defense, led by Luca Guzman, Will Golden, Oliver Schroder, George Dunlop, stifled Fountain Valley the entire second half, as Laguna‘s offense continued to move the ball and score. Grayson Carr and London Blincoe each had great touchdown runs, and Steve Torres capped off the scoring with a fumble recovery that he scooped up and ran in from 23 yards out. The final score was Laguna 54 Fountain Valley 7. The players of the game would be Hendricks McMann and James Wyman.
