West Bloomfield, MI — Friday night the West Bloomfield Varsity Football team kicked off their week 2 game against Southfield with anticipation in the air. Defense, Special Teams, and another dominate effort by the run game led the team to a 37-0 victory. The Laker rushing attack, led this week by Senior Joel Davis, racked up 178 yards on 25 carries and 4 TDs. Touchdown scorers Obi Duru, Jamal Shakespear, Kam Hall, and Davis, were continually set up in good field position by the Defense and Special Teams who gave the Lakers short fields to work with.
