Middletown, NY — reported in The Daily Freeman by Rick Remsynder MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Kingston High’s girls soccer team got second-half goals from Abbie Cullen and Alex Foster to beat Middletown 2-0 on Thursday, Sept. 11. “This is the best I have seen Middletown play in all my years of coaching,” Kingston coach Juan Weissenberg said. “It was 0-0 at halftime and our team needed a reset. I asked them to go back to basics, no pointing fingers and remember that all we need to do is pass to create opportunities to score.” Cullen’s first varsity goal from a deep shot to the corner of the goal gave Kingston a 1-0 lead. Foster followed with a goal to make it 2-0. “It won’t be the last time we face some adversity, but the girls stepped up for sure,” Weissenberg said. Goal- Abbey Cullen Goal - Alex Foster
