The Eagles were able to use their height advantage and came away with a 2-1 win. The Bearcats are 4-3 on the year and are 1-2 in games decided by one goal. Head coach Jason Morris thought his team had more possession time, but struggled to get shots in the first half. "We have to be ready to take that shot" The first half went scoreless. Bald Eagle picked up a goal on a deflection and the net on a rebound after the save by Davien Wise. Huntingdon avoided the shutout with 30 seconds left to play. Jett Zolnoski made the crossing pass. Bald Eagle's very tall goalkeeper blocked a shot, but Gaige Sholly used his head to score the goal. The Cats are 1-3-1 in the last five meetings with the Eagles. Junior High The boys' junior high team defeated Bald Eagle Area 7-1 on Thursday. Davey Long, Ben Schonberg, and Jax Fleegal each scored twice, with a corner kick by Dominic Thebaud leading to an own goal by Bald Eagle. Schonberg also had two assists, with Vincent Thebaud and Remy Macklem each adding another assist. Jon Valle made three saves in goal.
