Dunlap, IL — The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team moved to 6 - 0 on the season Tuesday night when they traveled to Dunlap High School and picked-up a 51 - 37 victory over the Eagles. Leading the way for the Streaks was Jozalyn Kilgore with 13 points. Ella Herchenroder scored 11 points, and Lily Furrow finished with 8 points. Overall the team was 16 of 41 from the field, 3 of 12 from beyond the arc, and 15 of 21 from the free throw line. They pulled down 33 rebounds, had 13 assists, and turned the ball over 14 times. Providing a spark off the bench in the 2nd quarter, Ellie Johnson was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. She finished the night with 6 points, a couple of rebounds and an assist, but most importantly, when her team needed it, she stepped up and made a big impact.
