Midland, MI — On Monday, the Cavaliers opened their season on the road with a strong performance against the Bullock Creek Lancers. Freshman point guard Zaevion Perkins led all scorers with an impressive 30 points, showcasing a high motor and the ability to score in rapid stretches. Freshman shooting guard Carter Inman found his rhythm from beyond the arc, contributing 16 points and providing valuable spacing on the offensive end.
Additionally, Delon Frierson recorded his first double-double of the season, delivering a steady presence on both ends of the floor. It was a well-rounded team victory for the Cavaliers.
The team will return home for their next contest on Wednesday, when they face Frankenmuth.
