San Juan Capistrano, CA — The @jserralionslax Boys Lacrosse team began its' season with a convincing 15-5 win over the Los Alamitos Griffins in a nonleague contest at JSerra Catholic High School. JSerra tallied the first seven goals of the game to take a 7-0 lead into the intermission, and after the Griffins scored to open the second half, the Lions added four straight goals to put the contest out of reach. Sophomore Cameron Hill scored a team-high four goals. Senior Mason Stephens scored three goals and passed for three assists. Senior Gavin Goodrich also found the back of the net three times. Senior Asher Stevenson scored twice and recorded two assists, while senior Doug Lorimer also scored two goals. Senior Luke Bittner also added a goal. Sophomore Logan Alpay served as the Lions’ defensive catalyst, as he recorded 14 saves between the pipes. #lionnation #jserraboyslacrosse #jserraathletics
