Tujunga, CA — The Verdugo Hills Girls Soccer team officially opened their season Monday at home, against long time league rival North Hollywood. In what turned out to be a defensive battle the Dons and Huskies ended in a 0-0 tie. Verdugo Hills Goalie Amber Echea made numerous key saves in the second half to preserve the draw for the Dons season opener.
