Tucson, AZ — Winning always feels good — but winning with your best offensive showing of the season? That’s even sweeter. Salpointe Catholic delivered just that Tuesday night, erupting for a season-high 68 points to knock off Catalina Foothills 68-61 on the road. The victory felt familiar for the Lancers, who also came out on top the last time they faced the Falcons. The Lancers are starting to find their rhythm away from home. The win pushed Salpointe Catholic to 5-7 on the season and marked their third straight road victory. Offense has fueled the streak, with the Lancers averaging 63 points per game during that stretch. Meanwhile, the loss snapped Catalina Foothills’ impressive ten-game home winning streak dating back to last season and dropped the Falcons to 9-6. There’s no time to celebrate for Salpointe Catholic, as the Lancers are right back in action Wednesday night against Mica Mountain at 7:00 p.m. It won’t come easy — the Thunderbolts have scored at least 55 points in every game this season. Catalina Foothills will look to bounce back when they host Maricopa on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
