Parlin, NJ — The Sayreville Bombers tried mounting a comeback in the second half against South Amboy but ultimately fell short losing 50-38. A sloppy first and second quarter put them in a hole too big to come back from. The boys fought until the very end, making the game incredibly interesting to start the 4th quarter down only 7. Key plays led by 8th grader Jack Krainski and Xavier Patterson kept the Bombers in the game. Jaden Crespo and Liam Vargas added a few clutch shots in the 3rd and 4th quarters as well. The Bombers will be back in action Monday, December 15th versus a hungry Timothy Christian team. Go Bombers!
