Holt, MI — The Holt Rams Dombroski Bronze team returned to the hardwood with an impressive 28-14 win over Grand Ledge on Sunday. The Rams were led offensively and defensively by Cameron Powell (10 points) and Zachary Mead (8 points). The Rams also got significant contributions from Cash James (6 points) and Makhi Love (4 points). The Rams were most effective on the defensive end, primarily in the first half, taking a commanding 14-5 lead at the half. After a sluggish 3rd quarter, the Rams turned up the rebounding effort to end with 25 rebounds as a team. Jackson Dombroski, Nasir Lane, Jackson James and Holden Wharton held down the lane on both ends of the floor for the Rams to get their 2nd victory of the season. The Rams will return to standard practice times this week (Monday and Wednesday at 6:15 pm at Washington Wood.)
With a few weeks before their next game, the Rams will have their next contest on Saturday, January 17 at Williamston.
