Royal Oak, MI — Another team effort led by unselfish basketball and pressure defense that led to plenty of quick transition buckets. The boys saw a zone for the first time this season and had no problem attacking it with quick ball movement and quick decision making. Nik Nahhal led the team with his new season high 23 points. Nik knocked down three from beyond the arc and had a handful of strong finishes in transition, including an "and 1" early in the first quarter. Nik's effort defensively shined with 8 steals that led to easy points off turnovers. Drew Geottes was just one rebound away from getting the first double-double of the season. Another strong all around game for him as he finished with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Max Durda also added a stat sheet filling performance, also closing in on a double-double with 6 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Once again the bench charge was led by Jeremiah Price getting out and finishing strong in transition. 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals for him. The boys move to 3-0 and score over 70 points for the second time in a row.
