Bombers Blue win Home Debut!
The SMS Boys Blue team defeated Edgar Middle School on Friday by a score of 57-22. The Bombers tenacious man to man defense mixed with a full court press helped the Bombers take an early lead that they never relinquished. Captains DJ Thomas and Colin Maher demonstrated great all around performances. Landon Gregory and Naeto Attah were aggressive at the basket while sharp shooters Julian Simpkins, Tyler McQuiller and Jayvian Cespedes-Cintron attacked from the perimeter. Dalton Cannan's leadership on both ends contributed to the Bombers extending their lead in the 1st and 2nd quarters. Gionni Iwashyna helped slow down the Edgar attack with double digit rebounds. Ryan Acevedo and Myles Mitchell both scored for the Bombers to close out the win.
