San Juan Capistrano, CA — The @jserra.girlslax team notched its’ first triumph of the season on Thursday, as the Lions knocked off the Canyon Comanches 10-6 in a nonleague contest at JSerra Catholic High School. The Lions are now 1-1 on the season. Senior Hannah Quinn and sophomore Jane Willits helped key the defensive effort that sparked the Lions' offense to scoring six of the game’s first nine goals. JSerra will look to win back-to-back games on Saturday, when they head to Palos Verdes to take on the Sea Queens.
