Pine Bush, NY — Pine Bush hosted Newburgh on Tuesday night and competed through three quarters before a strong fourth-quarter push from the visitors sealed a 49–35 result. After an even opening quarter, Pine Bush stayed within striking distance at halftime and continued to battle on both ends, matching Newburgh’s energy through the middle of the game. However, Newburgh capitalized late. Offensively, Pine Bush saw balanced contributions, with several players getting on the scoreboard and working to generate good looks, while also showing effort on the glass and in transition. Defensively, the Bushmen forced turnovers and limited second-chance opportunities at key moments but unfortunately it didn't go their way in the fourth quarter. The team will look to build on this loss and stack some momentum on the road.
