Rochester, MI — Hittle collected three hits in three at bats, as Rochester Adams Highlanders JV defeated Oxford Junior Varsity Wildcats 12-7 on Monday. Hittle doubled in the sixth inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning. Rochester Adams Highlanders JV rallied for the victory despite trailing 5-0 in the first. Rochester Adams Highlanders JV took the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Markey grounded out, and Scharneck singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Markey earned the win for Rochester Adams Highlanders JV. The right-handed pitcher allowed six hits and six runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking none. Clark started on the hill for Oxford Junior Varsity Wildcats. The hurler allowed nine hits and six runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking two.
